Hi, I’m Arpit Uniyal — founder and engineer at Veadicastro.

I started Veadicastro with a question I couldn’t let go of: why was no one building a serious Vedic astrology platform where artificial intelligence and genuine astrological structure could work together?

Too many products felt interchangeable: generic predictions, copied explanations and answers that never reached the person asking. I wanted to build something more grounded — a product that makes the depth of Jyotish easier to access without treating it as entertainment.

My family has been connected with astrology and spiritual practice for nearly 300 years. Growing up in Pauri Garhwal, I heard conversations about kundlis, dashas, planetary positions, remedies and the responsibility that comes with giving someone guidance.

That background shaped the original idea: traditional Vedic knowledge should not be erased by AI. It should be given better tools, stronger structure and a more thoughtful digital home.

The early days were quiet. There was no large team, investor backing or marketing budget — only a product to build and a long list of things I did not know yet.

I learned by doing: AI systems, prompt design, website performance, SEO, product design and the hard work of turning astrological computation into an experience people could actually understand. Every fix seemed to reveal three new problems, but each one made the product better.

I kept going because I believe AI can transform astrology, as long as it does so with care for the tradition behind it.

The first paid order was a small event from the outside, but it changed how I saw the company. Someone had trusted an early product enough to pay for it. Veadicastro was no longer only an idea — it was beginning to solve a real need for a real person.

From that point, I treated every detail with greater seriousness: the quality of the reading, the product experience and the reliability of the system behind it.

With no large advertising budget, I made SEO and product quality the growth engine. I spent months improving performance, publishing genuinely useful content, resolving technical issues and learning what people were searching for when they needed guidance.

The work compounded. Veadicastro crossed three million Google impressions in a few months, and thousands of people began using the platform. For a bootstrapped founder from Uttarakhand, that progress felt extraordinary — and it also made the responsibility more real.

Building a company is less glamorous than it often appears online. There are slow days, server failures, ranking changes, payment issues, production bugs and moments when the next move is not obvious.

Those moments have been my education. Instead of seeing them as signals to stop, I have learned to turn them into the next product, engineering or process improvement.

I do not believe AI should replace traditional knowledge. I believe it should make that knowledge more accessible, consistent and understandable — while keeping the original principles in control.

That is the standard behind Veadicastro: no random generated predictions, no shallow novelty. The technology should serve authentic Vedic astrology, not overwrite it.

I’m still learning every day, but the direction is clear: build a reliable, long-term platform where ancient Vedic wisdom and modern AI meet with real depth.

The aim is not astrology designed for clicks. It is a more useful, transparent and trustworthy experience for people around the world. Veadicastro is only at the beginning of that journey.
